Last :\1I|C Project has faced several challenges across the Country. Among the challenges are
erection of the electricity connectivity on semi-permanent dwelling structures that poses a risk
of falling olT. ar}d causing damage or fire, connectivity fees being paid installments through
token subscription, inability of some beneficiaries to pay the monthly electricity bills and

Nakuru region. This study adopted census approach and structured questionnaires for
purposes of data collection. In order to ensure that data gathering for this study is reliable. the
study used crossed verification approach and Cronbach’s Alpha based on the pilot siudy. The
research study involved descriptive statistics in describing the core data elements including
the use of means, frequencies as well as standard deviation. The research involved conducting
a content analysis on the Last Mile project documents. Additionally, SPSS version was
applicable for data coding. The study findings were presented in form of tables and
thematically in narrative form. The researcher observed all ethical considerations of research
and participation in the study was voluntary. The study established that the level of
significance of the regression model was 0.1%. This indicates that the collected data was ideal
in establishing a conclusive concept regarding the population parameters. In addition. the Pvalue
was below 5%. The P-value was greater than the nominal value (12.90 is greater than
2.50) an indication that leadership, risk management, stakeholder participation and monitoring
