Usawiri wa vijana katika tamthiilia teule za Kiswahili
Abstract
Utafiti huu ulidhamiria kuchunguza usawiri wa vijana katika tamthilia teule za Kiswahili. Mtafiti amechanganua taswira mbali mbali zilizoibuka katika tamthilia hizi teule. Imebainika kuwa, taswira hizi ni kiwakilishi cha njia wanazotumia vijana kujipa mamlaka na kuyatumia, pamoja na mamlaka hayo kutumika kwao. Tasnifu hii imeonyesha kuwa, vijana wana uwezo wa kujipa mamlaka na kuyatumia sawa na wazee katika jamii. Hata hivyo, njia za kufanya hivyo ni tofauti na zile za wazee!
Nadharia ya Ki-Foucault imetumika katika kuchanganua taswira zilizoibuka katika
tamthilia teule. Nadharia hii huonyesha namna ambavyo mahusiano ya kijamii husawiri kinyang'anyiro cha matumizi ya mamlaka.
Tasnifu hii ina sura tano. Sura ya kwanza imeshughulikia vipengele vya kimsingi katika tasnifu hii. Vipengele hivi vimeonyesha dhana muhimu kama zilivyotumiwa katika utafiti huu, namna suala la utafiti lilivyochipuka, malengo na misingi ya nadharia iliyoongoza utafiti huu, mapitio ya maandishi na mbinu za utafiti zilizotumika.
Sura ya pili imejadili usawiri wa vijana katika asasi mbali mbali za kijamii. Katika sura hii dhana ya kijana, utamaduni wa vijana, mielekeo kuwahusu vijana, na hali zao duniani, zimefafanuliwa.
Katika sura ya tatu, taswira za vijana katika tamthilia za Wakati Ukuta (1971) na Uasi (1980) zimechunguzwa. Tamthilia hizi zinawakilisha Ale za awali katika utunzi wa tamthilia ya Kiswahili.
Sura ya nne imechanganua taswira za vijana katika tamthilia za Kitumbua Kimeingia Mchanga (2000) na Pango (2003). Tamthilia hizi ni kiwakilishi cha utunzi wa sasa katika historia ya tamthilia ya Kiswahili.
Katika sura ya tano, muhtasari, matokeo ya utafiti, matatizo yaliyojiri katika utafiti na mapendekezo ya utafiti, yametolewa.
