Abstract
Electronic procurement is one of the strategies introduced for improving performance by Telkom Kenya Limited. The central and important problems often faced by the organization is that it can be challenging to get vendors to comply online, provide internal and external collaboration because the technologies may change frequently, often involving different requirements. In this context, the study will generally focus on determining how performance of Telkom Kenya Limited is influenced by e-procurement with a specific look at how transmission of data transmission, buyer and supplier’s collaboration, system and billing management influences performance. The study will be guided by Technology Acceptance Model, Systems Theory, Supply Chain Theory and Transaction Cost Theory. This research will be undertaken by means of a comprehensive sample method survey. Telecom Kenya Ltd., located in Nairobi City County, will be the target population. The research will involve 79 respondents. The survey sample will be used to select 79 respondents. This study questionnaire will be used as a data collection tool for all respondents. Pretesting will be conducted with 10 participants who will not participate in the actual study. The research will use both quantitative and qualitative data analysis approaches. The data collected will first be evaluated using descriptive statistics that will include averages and standard deviations and will be displayed in terms of charts, percentages and graphs. This will be feasible using the Social Sciences Statistical System (SPSS).
