dc.description.abstract | This research project was carried out to examine the factors influencing the job satisfaction of employees in the Kenyan film industry. It was stimulated by the lack of uniformed systems within the film industry in Kenya which playa big role in determining the satisfaction of employees in their working environment. A number of studies have been conducted on the relationship between labour, capital and the satisfaction of the labourers therein in various industries. However, there is an inadequate study on this relationship within the Kenyan film industry, thus necessitating this study. Specifically, the projectsoughtto fmd out whether elements of industrial relations such as collective bargaining and structured wages, working conditions, welfare related programs and foreign film clients affect the satisfaction of employees in the Kenyan film industry. The study used a descriptive research design with a sample size of 110 film employees representing 10% of the target population of 1,100. | en_US |
