dc.description.abstractThe global environment in which real estate projects are executed is very dynamic, hence calling for property developers to continuously improve their business processes to achieve the goals of successful project delivery. Real estate companies across the world have looked for ways and means of enhancing the success of the projects they undertake. However, this is not feasible especially because most real estate development companies are owner managed ventures and start-ups that are in the formative stages of their business cycle. This aim of the study was to establish the influence of implementation of business process reengineering on the performance of real estate projects in Nairobi, County. In addition, the study sought to evaluate the effect of strategies, processes, technology and people on the performance of real estate projects in Nairobi County. For the research methodology, descriptive research design was employed by the researcher. In this study, 68 real estate developers/project managers were targeted. A census of 68 project managers was done to obtain data on the study. Primary data was used, which was collected by use questionnaires. Analysis of quantitive data was done by use of SPSS. The descriptive statistics approach was adopted for analyzing and presenting the data in this research. Tables and figures were then used to present the analyzed data. The relationship existing between the dependent and independent variables was established with the help of simple regression analysis. The study established that there was significant positive relationship between strategies, people, technology, processes and project performance. The study recommends that relevant strategies should be put into place in order to enhance performance of real estate projects. The study recommends that for real estate projects to meet their intended use, there is need to implement proper guidelines. The study recommends that modern technology should be adopted as it helps in planning, designing and monitoring of the projects. The study finally recommends that there is need to equip relevant stakeholders with the relevant skills and knowledge on the importance of successful projects.en_US
