Mofologia ya maneno mkopo ya Gikuyu kutoka Kiswahili: Mtazamo wa fonolojia Leksia.
Abstract
Suala la manenomkopo hupatikana katika taaluma ya Isimu Linganishi Historia. Utafiti uliolengwa ulichanganua utohozi mofologia wa manenomkopo ya Gikuyu kutoka kiswahili kwa madhumuni ya kubainisha kanuni na taratibu zilizohusika. Manenomkopo hujitokeza yakiwa na sura mbalimbali za mofologia ya lugha inayokopa.
Madhumuni ya utohozi ni kuyafanya manenomkopo yalingane na kuafiki mfumo wa lugha pokezi. Tafiti za awali kuhusu utohozi hazijashughulikia utohozi mofolojia kwa kina kwa kutumia misingi ya nadharia.
Uchanganuzi wa maendeleo ulitegemea mtazamo wa fonologia Leksia katika nadharia ya fonologia inayozingatia falsafa ya sarufi zalishi. Kulingana na mtazamo huu, uambishaji wa maneno umengaliwa kwa jumla na mageuzi ya maumbo ya maneno yanadhibitiwa na sheria za kifonologia. Data msingi ilikusanywa kutoka miktadha mbalimbali ya matumizi ya lugha kama vile nyumbani, sikoni, redioni na kanisani.
Mbinu ya uchunguzi ilikuwa kushiriki, mazungumzo na kusikiliza. Katika kuwasilisha, maelezo yaliambatanishwa na michoro, vielezo na jedwali.
Taratibu za kimofologia zilizohusika katika utohozi ziliangaziwa. Aidha, uchunguzi ulikuwa na nafasi kubwa y akuchangia usomi wa kiswahili na Isimu za lugha za Kiafrika kwa jumla. Zaidi ya hayo, utafiti huu ulibainisha tofauti kati ya Gikuyu na kiswahili ingawa zote ni lugha za Kibantu. Kazi hii ingerejelewa na wasomi wa baadaye hasa kuhusu utohozi wa manenomkopo kwa jumla.
