Abstract
This study aimed at finding out teachers' perception of Educational Drama, its use and problems. A strong case for Educational Drama had been put up by giving the philosophical, sociological, psychological and other related implications to a child's education. Facts from the field revealed that teachers are aware of Educational Drama's benefits to education though misconceptions do exist. Owing to certain factors ranging from a strong emphasis on passing National Examinations to inadequate training on the subject, it has been neglected. As it is a natural way through which a child learns Educational Drama plays an important role and hence the need to design proper programs for all educationists so that they may acquire theoretical and practical knowledge.
