Abstract
The 3 days workshop was organised by African Economic Research Consortium (AERC). African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), which was established in 1988, is one of the most active Research and Capacity Building Institutions (RCBIs) in the world, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. The Consortium’s mission is to strengthen local capacity for conducting independent, rigorous inquiry into the problems facing the management of economies in sub-Saharan Africa. The workshop funded by Bill and Melinda Gates took place from April 3 - 5, 2023 at the Protea Hotel in Kampala, Uganda.
