It has become rather difficult for information Managers to decide the best software for use in their organisations. CDS/ISIS and INMAGIC are the main textual databases in use in most information and Documentation in Kenya thus the comparative user study examines the two softwares in relation to factors such as user friendliness, compatibility, flexibility, strength, limitations, hardware and software local support.
