This book ia an attempt to equip the extension personnel with soil fertlity packages that can easily be disseminated to farmer. The language is simple, while illustrations are used exclusively to explai technology usage in order to address the wide clientele in agricultural production. Increasing farm productivity leads to increase in profitability of farming as a business among other benefits such as food security. The soil fertility management options presented in this bookhave been developed and tested with farmer in various parts in Meru South District. If many farmers are reached with the message herein and adopt the packages, then the vision of both the researchers and extensionists will have been achieved.en_US
