Abstract
The workshop was organized by National AIDS Control Council in collaboration with UNAIDS to train African region health personnel on the new features developed for Spectrum software and to provide an opportunity to compare the R Logistic Random walk model with the existing R Spline and EPP classic which have been used in developing HIV estimates in previous years. The participants were people working in HIV/AIDS sector from Kenya, Uganda, Malawi and Zibwambwe. The target audience was mathematical modellers, County AIDS and STI Coordinators, Data modelling officers. The venue of the workshop was Marina English Point, Mombasa, Kenya during the period 11th – 14th September, 2018.
