Abstract
The role of domestic airports in Kenya call not be over emphasized more. Apart from being the main stay of the tourism industry, it is also the major revenue earner compared
to other cash crops like maize, tea and coffee, It is important to note that it is only Lokichoggio Airport which has a different type of business compared to other domestic Airports in Kenya. Lokiehoggio Airport, apart from housing United Nation bodies, World Food Programme, UNICEF, and Red Cross it was known as the major corridor for the humanitarian assistance to Southern Sudan victims of the war torn country. Actually this was the major business that kept the airport unique from other domestic airports. For this reason, it can strongly be argued that the departure of this United Nation bodies to relocate to southern Sudan, Lokichoggio Airport would he left without any single tangible business that call sustain it. The researcher intended to study different types or revenue generation avenues that would sustain Lokichoggio Airport alter World Food programme relocates to Southern Sudan. The overall objective or tire study was to explore other sources of revenue generation, which would sustain the activities at Lokichoggio Airport. The major sources of information for the study were questionnaires, face-to-face interview to the stakeholders. The information obtained was processed and analyzed quantitatively using statistical tools and also qualitatively, and then it was he presented in the right format.
