It brings together Kiswahili lecturers, teachers, media personality and language enthusiasts to discuss issues affecting Kiswahili and the promotion of the Kiswahili language nationally, regionally and internationally. For the 2023 conference, the venue was Kabianga University, Kericho County, Kenya. The conference was held on 1st March to 2nd March 2023 as part of celebrations to mark 10 years since the inception of the university.
