Design/methodology/approach – the study used cross-sectional descriptive survey desing and employed both quantitative and qualitative approaches of collecting data. Data were analyzed using both descriptive (percentages, means and standard deviations) and inferential statistics (multiple linear regression analysis). Findings – poor wages, inadequate and malfunctioning equipment, and lack of accessible fire exists were found to have negative effect on work safety of hotel housekeepers.
