The objectives of the study are to establish the transitions plans in curriculum, establish preparedness of the learners with intellectual disability for transition, establish what determines graduation readiness; and establish the engagement of the learners with intellectual disability by the adult service providers and systems after their training. The researcher will adopt the Piaget's theory that deals with the nature of knowledge itself and how human beings acquire, construct, and use it. The study will be conducted at Nakuru Hills and Pangani special school for the learners with intellectual disability. The target population will be two hundred and twenty eight respondents where thirty two will be sampled for the study. The researcher will conduct a purposive sampling of schools due to their scarcity and random sampling of the respondents for equal chances of inclusion in the sample. Piloting will be conducted at Njoro special school for the learners with intellectual disability. The researcher will use questionnaires and an interview guide to collect data. The researcher will administer the research instruments to the respondent by visiting the sampled schools.
