The main aim of the research was to investigate the effectiveness of the existing resources in these libraries. The research adopted a descriptive study approach to gather data on utilization of multimedia resources. Authority to conduct the research was sought in the respective Libraries’ questionnaires were issued to 45 students from each library and 6 staff elected randomly. Results obtained were analyzed. Among the key findings of the study were that, the most commonly utilized multimedia resources are the computers, speakers, the screen magnifiers amongst the user's with special needs and the internet. The least used multimedia playback devices are the Mp3 readers, the DVD's and the scanners.
