June, 2020The current study investigates the buoyancy-induced MHD stagnation point flow of Williamson fluid with thermal radiation over a stretching sheet. A system of nonlinear partial differential together with the boundary conditions governing the fluid flow are formulated, then transformed to ordinary differential equations using appropriately identified similarity variables. The resulting equations are solved numerically by combination of shooting technique and Runge-Kutta fourth order integration scheme. The results are depicted graphically to illustrate the effects of thermal radiation parameter, buoyancy and electromagnetic forces on both the fluid velocity and temperature. The results revealed that an increase in buoyancy leads to an increase in the overall velocity of the flow but a decrease in the temperature of the flow.enBuoyancy-InducedMhd StagnationWilliamson FluidThermal RadiationStretching SurfaceBuoyancy-Induced Mhd Stagnation Point Flow of Williamson Fluid with Thermal Radiation Over a Stretching SurfaceThesis
