dc.description.abstractHexane and MeOH extracts of root bark of J. podagrica (collected from Nigeria) were screened for activity against third instar larvae of Chilo partellus. Both extracts exhibited potent activity; the hexane extract was the most active (87.6% feeding deterrence at a dose of 100 µg/leaf disc).en_US
