dc.description.abstractThis study focuses on the Pension Services offered by state corporations, with the main aim of finding out how retirees are paid their pensions. The target population of study was expected to be approximately 50 retired employees from each of these two corporations and all totaling to 100 interviewees in number. Their gender and location and where they come from in various provinces in Kenya will be highlighted and sampling techniques. Primary data was collected through administering of structured questionnaire to the respondents who are currently retirees and their dependants from the above corporations who are the main subject of the study. The collected data was analyzed also using descriptive statistics and central tendency (mean, mode and median), measure of dispersal (range. Standard deviation and variance), distribution (percentage and frequencies) and relationship correlation etc. The data obtained will be analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Computer package, if need be. In addition to the primary data collected, secondary data was collected through discussions with the employees (retirees) directly involved with pensions, problems as well as discussion with the head of department of pension at the State Corporation in Nairobi.en_US
